DESCRIPTION: The school was designed especially for students with autism who need a specific kind of education and treatment. At early stage of the project design, the design team had taken into account the Two Pearls Estidama requirement and has applied many strategies to reduce the energy consumption of the project in order to meet the Green Building Criteria. Apart form these strategies the building's orientation and massing is planned to reduce heat gains, harness daylight, and provide external shading.
